I would firstly like to say a massive thank you for your support with the first weeks of your daughter’s time at Bentley Wood. Our Year 7 students have settled in so well. Year 7 have now experienced a wonderful variety of lessons and experiences since the beginning of term.
Many Year 7 students rose to the summer literacy challenge of writing a poem about the Year 6-7 transition and the winners were announced this week during virtual assembly and are featured in our Newsletter. Students also get involved in further literacy challenges by participating in the monthly reading challenge, the first of which has already been launched.
