Dear Bentley Wood Community,
I have the pleasure of sending you the first newsletter of the year.
Join me in congratulating all the Year 11, and 13 students who have done so well in their GCSE, BTEC and A Level courses. We wish them all the best for the year ahead onto their next phase. Thank you all for working so well with us to ensure your daughters all achieve their very best.
Our new Year 7 and Year 12 students have settled in really well, it was a pleasure to meet them at our Year 7 and Year 12 engagement evenings.
As always, our Year 7 and 8 students have been stars at our Open Evening and Saturday tours, talking with such confidence and pride about their school.
Ms Bancroft has again treated us to another live music performance, this time we have all been entertained by a very talented harpist, Bianca Watts. The Sixth Formers enjoyed their Fright Night trip to Thorpe Park, I believe the tickets sold out in a record 3 minutes, all the students experienced a very rich and eye-opening careers fair. Please continue to encourage your daughters to engage in as much enrichment clubs and experiences as they can.
Finally, I would like to wish you all a lovely half term break and I look forward to seeing all students again on Monday 30th October.
Kind regards,
Naseema Akbar Headteacher
