Dear Bentley Wood Community,
It is my absolute pleasure to send you all another fantastic newsletter! The Autumn term is always the longest and busiest of the year and that really reflects in this newsletter.
This week we had an amazing Winter Concert with over 100 students involved; Such a variety of talent on show from the incredible BSL performers, dancers, musicians, actors and singers. All beautifully supported by dedicated staff and very calm and collective backstage, lighting and sound crews. We saw a taster from the upcoming Oliver production which is something for us all to look forward to in the New Year.
Thank you to parents, carers and staff, for encouraging and supporting our students to develop themselves through clubs, societies, community and charity work. We can see through this newsletter the clear benefits for them in having enriching experiences beyond the classroom. My hope is they take away from their school days amazing experiences, exciting opportunities and fond school day memories.
I always share with the students and staff in my end of term assemblies the list of so many students who have been acknowledged by staff, won awards, shown resilience, achieved their best or just shown amazing CARE values. It is a lovely send off for the holidays. Well done to them all.
Wishing you all a wonderful holiday and very Happy New Year.
Kind regards,
Naseema Akbar Headteacher
