I hope you are well. Enjoy the newsletter, it is packed full of fun, life and learning at Bentley Wood. There are some interactive information pages at the back. Take a look at page 52 ‘Getting to Know the Bentley Wood website’. This was an action point from our Parent Voice meeting. In each newsletter we will try and support you in navigating the website. Useful information for our new families or refreshers for others. This week Mr IIkano has set up a page focusing on curriculum information.
I had the absolute pleasure of attending the Christmas concert last night where over 100 students performed and stage managed an amazing performance. We were given a short preview of our next school production, ‘The Wizard of Oz’. Ms Bancroft, Ms Parks, Mr Rankin and the students are certainly promising another memorable performance. The tickets are on sale as of today and they will sell out very quickly.
I would like to wish you all a very restful Christmas and a Happy New Year. I hope you get the opportunity to share some time with your friends and families. Term will start with a staff training day on Monday 8th January, with some Year 12s in for exams, all students return on Tuesday 9th January. WE look forward to seeing then in the new year.
