Bentley Wood High School is pleased to announce a successful funding bid through the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme. The secured funding is for a staff training project involving structured training and job shadowing in Italy and Belgium that will bring new methodologies and didactic techniques to enhance the teaching abilities of our school staff.
The project, CPD4QUALITY – teachers’ Continuing Professional Development for language learning and content teaching. CPD4QUALITY will enable 15 staff from our trust to partake in courses abroad with flights, accommodation and subsistence all covered in the agreed funding. The mobilities were set to take place in April next year, however, due to the disruption caused by COVID-19 this is subject to review in the next months as our school adapts to the new challenges that the pandemic has brought.
Bentley Wood looks forward to leading this project and by enhancing the capabilities of our staff, we hope to see the final impact in the results that our students achieve.
