Entry Requirements

The general minimum entry requirements to study four AS course are six GCSEs at 5 or above, including Grade 5 in English Language and Mathematics.

The requirements for BTEC Level 3 are five GCSEs at Grade 5 or above including 5 in English Language and Mathematics.

  • In this table ‘subject’ means a GCSE grade in that subject e.g. in Geography you must achieve a 5 at GCSE.
  • When two grades are shown for e.g. in English, this means both Language and Literature. Where only one grade is shown, this means Language.

KEY:

  • 5 (1) Or Portfolio of Observational Drawings.
  • 5 (2) Grade 5 or above at GCSE in a humanities subject (History, Geography or Philosophy/Religious Studies).
  • 5 (3) Grade 6 in the subject is desirable.
  • 5 (4) Have attended a Sports Club during KS4.
